Inzichten – Material District 2024
Eén keer per jaar, als de geur van de lente in de lucht hangt, maar je nog steeds je winterjas nodig hebt. Is het de tijd van het jaar om mijn notebook en een opgeladen telefoon te pakken voor foto's,
op de fiets te springen,
langs het kanaal naar de Werkspoorkathedraal te rijden
voor waardevolle nerdgesprekken met enthousiaste materiaalonderzoekers en experts.

Informatie – Sharing is caring
Ik vind het erg leuk om ‘material explorings’ te delen met studenten en professionals. Ik heb nu een paar keer een lezing gegeven als ontwerper en materiaalverkenner. Informatie delen over alternatieve materialen en andere duurzame uitdagingen als maker, maar ook geleerde lessen als creatief ondernemer. 
Zo’n lezing helpt je op weg om duurzame stappen te maken, er komen ondernemershoogte- en dieptepunten voorbij en inspireert om te genieten van de magie van het maken.

Inspiratie – UUnited
Eén van mijn meest recente maatwerkprojecten was voor STUK
Een lokale studententheatervereniging. Rekwisieten voor 5 types.
De wereldverbeteraar,
de nerd,
het feestbeest,
de yogastudent en
de student die een leven uitgestippeld heeft.
Herken je ze in de afbeelding?

Ze gaan optreden op het UUnited Music Festival. Een festival gemaakt voor en door studenten dat dwars door alle muziekgenres heen gaat. 21 maart in TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht. 
 
Ik kan niet wachten om hun theatermagie te zien!

Insights – Material District 2024 
Once a year, when the smell of spring is in the air, but you still need your winter coat. It is that time of year to grab my notebook and a charged phone for pictures,
jump on the bike,
drive past the canal to werkspoor cathedral
for some glorious nerd talk with enthusiastic material explorers and experts.

Information – Sharing is caring
I really enjoy sharing about the explorations with students and professionals. I have been giving a lecture as designer and material explorer a couple of times now. Sharing about alternative materials and other sustainable challenges as maker, but also some lessons learned as creative entrepreneur. The session helps to get you going in making sustainable steps, shares some entrepreneurial highs and lows and inspires to enjoy the magic of making.

Inspiration – UUnited
One of my most recent tailor-made projects was for STUK 
A local Student Theater Association. Props for 5 types.
The world improver,
the nerd,
party animal,
yoga student and
the student that has got a life mapped out. 
Can you spot them in the picture?

They are going to perform at The UUnited Music Festival. Which was created for and by students and cuts across all music genres. The 21st of march in TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht. 
 
Can’t wait to see how they are going to make their theater magic happen!
